Saturday trip

Went to JB yesterday, spent my afternoon and evening there coz Arabic class was cancelled. So happy that I was able to pick up Malay assessment books for my tutee. Bought from Tahun 1 al the way to Tahun 3. The materials will be enough to cover all sessions this year. Of course, hopefully her Malay will improve.

Lame of lame

First period was cancelled today for cheer practice. Kids were made to learn cheers to support the band for comp this saturday. How depressing. The band will perform in between 2 bands who have won gold and gold with honours before. Supporters (compulsory) will be seated in between the supporters of gold bands. I can really imagine it now..drowning drowning drowning.

We guys sat at the back to talk about old times, then one colleague shared about how he loves his sec 4 class cheer. His class was 4Q...now, let's picture cheers with the 4Q in them.

Feeling better today, have accepted that it's meant to happen sooner or later. Haven't seen any vids recently, so nothing nice to share.

Broken

My heart is broken again. That's twice in a span of 5 months. Do I really have no future with men? I can't do "enjoy the moment" dates. Believe me, I've tried. I've tried "no strings attached" dates, even if it means going out with the same person many many times. It's difficult not to develop any feelings towards anyone I've spent so much time with.  Can't anyone love me in return?

Whatever it is, I will not go to the person who likes me, but yet I don't. He has to be someone I don't mind taking up space with. What do I do now? Can I still smile when he returns? Or should I wish he doesn't come back and then I won't have to face him again? That way, my broken heart will be mended, even if it takes a long time.

I think I really miss him

It's been a week since he left. It's different not having him texting me asking whether I'm free. It's as if all of a sudden, I am looking for something to do to occupy. I guess now I understand what he meant by he's lonely, hence he needs a wife

Weird behaviour of pple

Yesterday I thought of doing a little bit of exercise and chose to walk from school to the 187 bus stop. On my way there, I came across a school bus which dropped off two kids at block 6XX. Shortly after, the bus reversed, turned right an drove maybe half a bus length distance, to srop of another two kids at block 6XY. I was like...wth. Why can't the kids just alight at the same place and then walk towards their block. Guess what happened next? The four kids (and parents) then walked towards another street about 5 metres away, crossed it to another neighbourhood. Anohter question came to mind: Why sigh up for school bus when it doesn't take you to your block???? Where's the school? Two bus stops away.... sighz. Waste of fuel.

In the bus, I came across another funny character. This couple with fake hair were enjoying their afternoon at the back row of the bus. Suddenly, the an sms came in. Guy got up, read, and hit the glass window of the bus REALLY HARD.  Of course, pple turned and stared. Guy started shouting, girl asked him to shut up coz she was sleeping.

Dried up bowl and mug

K, I've lost the password for my first blog. So here I am, with my new one. You may call me Slytherin Princess. Why the name? I adore Prof. Severus Snape. We are both similar because he teaches Potions while I teach Chemistry.

Quite pissed right now. The plumber (?) took more than 2 periods to repair the sink. I had my breakfast of cereal and milk (bowl) and warm milk (mug)  at around 11 today. Couldn't wash them after eating coz the sink was being repaired. Went to class. Then when I returned to my table at 1.15pm, the sink was still being repaired!!! Glad that I'm working in an air-conditioned place. Otherwise, I'd have ants crawling on my table.
